Life stage celebrations

Welcome back to another blog, and this week I’ll be talking about how we can celebrate the many life stages we face in life. If you’d like to know more, then keep reading.

Life can take us on different paths, some we make the choice to stroll down, others we were sadly pushed down.

For most of us, many life stages such as the celebration of special milestones, births, marriages and deaths are common life stages that we share.

The forgotten life stages

But what about those forgotten life stages; the times we wish we had reflected on and saved memories? Like the first house we owned, the letters once written to our beloved children before they left home or the words we wish we’d said to that special someone in our lives before they so sadly passed away.

If Heaven had a Postcode series

If Heaven had a Postcode was launched after I lost two relatives in very quick succession, leaving me grappling with ways to support my six year old son and to keep memories alive in an uplifting way.

If Heaven had a Postcode the workbook

If heaven had a Postcode: The Workbook has been developed from the success of If heaven had a Postcode - crecreated as a workbook for use in schools and teaching settings. Aimed at coaching young people through their grief and providing a lasting legacy that they can add to over the years.

How to keep memories of a loved one alive

Treasuring precious memories through ‘uplifting’ memorial has never been so important. With mental health conditions including anxiety and depression at an all time high especially amongst the younger generation it’s important to do what we can to support young and vulnerable people.

Death and loss can impact on progress made by mental health teams and counsellors and often cause relapses in mental health illness. If Heaven had a Postcode is something that we can do to take back control. Created with the inclusion of specialist interview techniques to prompt memory recall, it can provide a positive distraction to those affected by bereavement.

It is also designed to be added to year after year to prevent feelings of guilt when it comes to remembering someone that has died.
