January Favourites

So as January wraps up, I’ll be sharing some of the things that have helped me this month, whether that be something that has bought me comfort, something that has brought a smile to my face on a challenging day, or something that has made my day just that little bit easier… so stick around and I’ll reveal my January favourites.

Something that has made the days just that little bit easier

Top of my January favourites…

Now when it comes to eating well and being organised, meal prepping is always top of the list. That’s why this month my trusty slow cooker has made its place once again firmly on my kitchen counter. Three times each week I set a morning alarm to load it up with seasonal vegetables, stock cubes, lean turkey mince, chick peas or anything else we fancy and pop it on low for 6-7 hours and then by dinner time we have a hearty batch cooked meal with plenty left over. Honestly, give it a whirl, it saves time, saves money, requires very little effort and has really made a huge difference to meal times. You can pick up a slow cooker from most supermarkets these days or perhaps try Amazon.

Something that has bought me comfort…

Number 2 of my January Favourites are my Totes Slipper socks. As an 80s child, I have fond memories of finding cosy slipper socks in my Christmas stocking each year. So much so that this Christmas I actually asked for some so it only seems fitting that they get a mention. Whenever I’m at home, I pop them on and they bring me instant cosy vibes. Especially on these crisp and cold evenings. Top tip – pop some moisturiser on first for an extra pamper

Something that has helped me relax…

And on to Number 3 of my January Favourites. Just before Christmas a lovely friend of mine bought me a Neom Organics Home fragrance candle to celebrate the launch of ‘If Heaven had a Postcode’. Wow what can I say, the one I have is from their festive collection but it really is a winner. The scent is pure perfection and floods the house with uplifting notes which make home feel that little bit more cosy. It has also really helped me to unwind at the end of a long day before bedtime. Why not head over to Neom Organics and check them out.

Something that has made me smile

We all need a little smile to get us through the day and I have to say what has really made me smile this month are the lovely messages and reviews I have received in relation to ‘If Heaven had a Postcode’. Knowing that this book has already helped so many of you has made this little journey worthwhile. Thank you so much for all of your feedback. It really means the world.

Something that has made me feel good…

And finally on my list of January Favourites it has to be Green juice. I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say I could really do with boosting my veg and fruit intake. The Green Machine Juice by Naked is boosted with vitamins and tastes amazing. I have a small glass when I first get up and it really helps to wake me up too. Top tip – tell the kids it’s swamp juice and watch how quickly they inhale it!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope that some of these suggestions might also bring a little comfort and support to your week or month ahead.

With love,

Sabrina x
